For this week's science experience we got 3 bottles of pop and a bag of Mentos.
I had never done this before and wasn't sure how big of a reaction to expect.
Here is Mr F and Miss P getting ready to drop their Mentos in.
In it goes.
And we have a soda fountain!
Then Miss P takes her turn.
This one went the highest out of all three bottles.
Unfortunately Miss J put her first Mentos in before I was ready
so I don't have a picture of it fizzing over.
You may not be able to see it but there is a Mentos in the bottle that is fizzing on the bottom.
This one fizzed the least of all three bottles.
The best part of the experience for the kids was that they got to eat some Mentos and drink some of the pop when we were finished.
Miss P put a Mentos in her cup.
So Miss J did too.
