A Cat In The Hat Sound A Like Rhyme

You will see,

I can sit up,

1...

2...

I am so proud,
so proud of me!

A Bubbly Day

We had some fun with bubbles the other day.
Would you like to see how much fun it was?
Okay, here you go.

Miss J

 Mr J

 Miss R

Miss N &   Mr W

Loading up with bubbles.

Miss J

Mr W's big bubble.

"See my new eye piece?" says Mr F.

Miss A and her magic bubble wand.

Miss N

Tiny Mr B

Silly Miss P

Miss R

Mr R now has a bloggy nickname.
Bam-Bam

Those who know him know he loves to throw things, make noise, wrestle, ect.
And when he runs you can hear his feet going slap, slap, slap across the floor.
We always know when he is running even if we can't see him right away.

Mr F accidentally got a bubble in his eye.
Oops.
He was able to wipe it away pretty fast and get back to having fun.

Suddenly we had an old man with a beard and (invisible) cane show up.
That's a bit odd.
(Miss P)

Then another old man with a beard and (invisible) cane showed up.
 Interesting.
(Miss R)

And when a third one showed up... well, I knew something fishy was going on.
(Miss J)

Just look at these "grumpy old men".
(Miss P, Miss R, Miss J)

Mr P

Miss J noticed the other girls with their bubble beards and decided she needed one also.

Too cute not to put in here.
Miss R

Mr F joins the "old men club".

The "littles".

Little Miss A showing off her old man skills.

Then she realized the bubbles accidentally got in her mouth.

Kind of hard to wipe them away with an equally bubbly hand.
= )

Miss R's beard.

Miss M's beard.

Mr J with his pet bubble.

Load up with more bubbles.

Mr F makes bubble music.
Well, not music really... but he learned the holes in the flute were great for making lots of bubbles quickly.

So that was our bubbly day.

The Itsy Bitsy Spider

It's a classic tale of the spider who has issues with the water spout.
Nearly every child I have ever cared for has known this little song and I thought it was high time some of our 1 year olds learned it.

Here is Ragdoll requesting the Itsy Bitsy Spider.
Who could say no to that?

Ladybug says, "I DON'T LIKE SPIDERS! I SAY NO!"
(You can't please everybody.)

Anyway, on to the song.

"The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout..."

"down came the rain..."

(Do you see it falling?)

"and washed the spider out..."

"out came the sun and dried up all the rain..."

(notice we said rain again so it must rain)

(When we sing "out came the sun and dried up all the rain" Ragdoll leans side to side but I didn't get a picture of it.)

"and the itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again."

 Yeaaaaaaaaaay!
(We always clap for ourselves at the end because we did so well.)

This is the face she gave me when she wanted me to do it again... for the 10th time... in a row.

How do you say no to that?
