Dirty Shoes?

The shoes around our place tend to get quite messy from time to time.
The solution is, of course, to clean them.
The kids love this job and I'll show you why.

They get to carry buckets with water in them.
(Mr. F)

Miss A

They get to play with the shoes,

with brushes,
 (Little Miss A)

with water,
 (Bam-Bam)

and with soap bubbles.

Mr P

Mr J

I love the look of determination on Mr F's face. He was excited because he was cleaning his friend's shoe.

"All clean."

Mr B

He was excited to use the old toothbrush to clean the shoes.

Or at least to clean his hand...

Bam-Bam went back and forth between the big kids water table and the little kids water table. Much fun was to be had at each one.

Mr B

From left to right around the water table is:
Miss M, Miss R, Mr F, Mr J, and Bam-Bam
Did you notice the face Mr J is making? He was asking me to take his picture.

See his pose for the camera?

Again, from left to right around the table is:
Miss M, Mr J, Miss A, Miss R, Mr F, Mr J and Bam-Bam

Miss R

Mr J smiled for the picture and then went right back to work with a smile on his face.

See?

Miss A is working hard.

Mr J was engrossed with something on the swing. What are you looking at J?

Oh, it's a little green grasshopper.
The boys LOVE catching bugs. Dragonflies are their favorite but a grasshopper is high up on the list also.

Mr B decided to wash his hair so he wouldn't need a shower later.

"Did I get all the soap out?"

Mr W is still having fun toting water to the tables. This bucket was heavier than the others had been.

Mr J decided to leave his grasshopper and join in the fun.

Ragdoll was a new comer to this particular activity.
It can't be said that she cleaned a lot of shoes but it can be said that the cube she is holding is in a rather clean condition.

The big kids table. That is Miss N in the pink dress walking towards the camera.

Look at Mr J's face in the blue shirt! Miss A in the pink shirt next to him had just splashed him.
"Did you really just do that?" - Mr J
"Why, yes I did." - Miss A

Then she did it again! Mr J didn't seem to mind once he got over his initial surprise.

Ragdoll's antics.

"Well, look at that! There is water on the ground. I wonder how that got there?" - Ragdoll

"I believe I shall dance in it." - Ragdoll

Once again Bam-Bam joins Mr B and Ragdoll at the little kids table.

I think she liked this activity.

What is cuter than baby footprints?

Mr J fiercely cleaning a shoe.

The result... with the soap still on it. :)

Do you need some shoes cleaned?
Just send them our way and our troupe will get the job done!

=)
