I took a few days to get away and relax this week. I didn't go far, just across town.
Looking down at the gate leading into OMF where I stayed.
From the same spot as the picture above just looking up toward the top of the hill where the OMF building is. It isn't the building you can see here.
This is the main building, and yes, the driveway really is VERY steep.
OMF stands for Overseas Missionary Fellowship. This is a place for missionaries to come and relax for a while.
The covered deck overlooking the ocean.
The window and balcony of my room.
My bedroom.
It's so green and pretty around OMF.
A coconut tree in the early stages.
The back yard of OMF.
My companion while photographing.
The hammock I reclined in for a while.
My view from the hammock.
Looking up from the hammock.
The book I read while in the hammock.
Some of my highly intellectual reading material.
And a bit more.
The sunset from the deck.
I spent most of my time reading but I did go to see a movie and threw in a bit of shopping.
It was nice and quiet as there was only myself and a young married couple there at the time.
I spent 3 days and nights there. I realized how much I missed my kids while I was gone because I took 233 pictures that afternoon after I got back. (Maybe a bit excessive but they were so cute!)
I'll share some of those pictures another day.
=)
