It's a classic tale of the spider who has issues with the water spout.
Nearly every child I have ever cared for has known this little song and I thought it was high time some of our 1 year olds learned it.
Here is Ragdoll requesting the Itsy Bitsy Spider.
Who could say no to that?
Ladybug says, "I DON'T LIKE SPIDERS! I SAY NO!"
(You can't please everybody.)
Anyway, on to the song.
"The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout..."
"down came the rain..."
(Do you see it falling?)
"and washed the spider out..."
"out came the sun and dried up all the rain..."
(notice we said rain again so it must rain)
(When we sing "out came the sun and dried up all the rain" Ragdoll leans side to side but I didn't get a picture of it.)
"and the itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again."
Yeaaaaaaaaaay!
(We always clap for ourselves at the end because we did so well.)
This is the face she gave me when she wanted me to do it again... for the 10th time... in a row.
How do you say no to that?
