Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess.
Just like other princesses, each year at the anniversary of her birth there is to be a grand event held in her honor.
This being her first grand event she was not sure what to expect.
All the royal subjects were in such a state of excitement that they broke out into song.
"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you...."
She observed her royal subjects with seriousness.
After they sang in English and Tagalog she applauded their efforts.
After having one of her subjects blow out the candle it was time for a royal gift.
As you can see, she had no lack of helping hands for this task.
It consisted of a maganda princess dress...
...and a huggable bear.
By this point she was no longer tolerant of so many royal subjects being this close to her
and sent them away.
Some of her ladies in waiting brought her a compact mirror so she could freshen up before the cake arrived for consumption.
The servants arrive with the cake and the princess takes a piece to try.
She deems it...

...very good!
My servants! You have been faithful in providing me with an amazing
grand event with wonderful cake.
I shall now put you in charge of washing my bowl,
and bringing me more cake...
every day.
Great storytelling. I loved it. I really felt like I was there.
