2 Happy Girls!

 

Miss M has been telling me since December that she is 8. I have been telling her since December that she WILL be 8 on her birthday in June. Last week she finally started saying that she WILL be 8 on her birthday.

She can now truthfully say she is 8!

Here is the cake to prove it.

I'm not even sure if M was hearing them sing as she was so focused on the candles.

Even after blowing them out she just stared at them for a while.

 

She liked her banana bread cake.

 

I think the sugar was getting to her.

Then 2 days later Miss J had her birthday.

She was a bit excited about it.

 

Light the candles.

 

See her counting to make sure there are the right amount of candles on the cake?

 

Make a wish and blow them out.

 

She was quite pleased with herself.
