Our Big 3 Year Old

We had another birthday around here and someone special turned 3 years old!

Miss R was mesmerized by the flame.

It took several times of us telling her to blow out the candle before she even noticed us.
See her finger by her mouth? She is blowing 'This Little Light Of Mine' out and it really worked! The candle went out. =)

What is it R?

She was very careful when opening the paper, she tried not to tear it.

All the other children were yelling out what they thought it was.
"A rabbit!" "A kangaroo!"

A thorough examination took place to decide which animal it really was.

It was declared a kangaroo and most definitely HER kangaroo.
(It looks rather like a cross between the two, although looking at the tail I think it is a rabbit.)

She started getting pretty silly at this point.

See?

Here is the crew who attended the party.

More of the crew.

The bigger kids helped me blow up the balloons and write the children's names on them.

Thank goodness because it would have taken me forever to get it all ready on my own.

Eating cake is serious work. Don't interrupt the progress and expect a nice smile.

Then it was time for balloon fun.

Sadly, Miss R's balloon popped before I even got out the door with the camera.
One of the other children shared their balloon with Miss R for a while but I was unable to get a good picture of it.

Mr R noticed his shadow here.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
MISS R!
