Since it is so hot here we sweat a lot.
With all this sweat happening clogged pores are inevitable.
When the pimple that occurs from the clogged pore grows beyond pimple stage we call it a boil.
On a side note, these two fight over everything.
I had just walked into the room.
This boy can crawl very fast! He actually reached me first, but only by half a second.
As the fight over who would get picked up first was going on...
(I picked them both up)
... Little Miss R was watching and wondering what was so exciting.
Now, back to the subject of boils.
Poor Buster here has had a big boil on the side of his head that didn't want to open.
We decided to try a potato poultice.
(He was mad in this picture because I sat him on the floor to take it.)
So this is a beautiful example of a potato poultice. Not much to see really.
We cut a slice of potato and place it on the boil, then cover it to hold it in place.
It really works!
The boil opened and is starting to decrease in size now.
However, this poultice has now lead to Buster getting a new nickname...
...Mr. Potato Head.
=)
We will see how long it sticks.
Now on to the other assorted things.
Little Miss L learned to suck her thumb a few months back.
However, one thumb just wasn't enough so she now sucks both thumbs at the same time.
So sweet!
Baby M only sucks one thumb at a time.
Look at the adorable dimples on his hand.
I love baby feet.
In the play area Ragdoll has found something fun to play with.
Can you see Buster (Mr. Potato Head) in the background?
Remember how I said they fight over everything?
If one of them has it the other one wants it.
"Wow! Look at all the cargo space it has!"- Buster
"Admire it all you want but remember, it is mine!" - Ragdoll
"Run away, run away!" - Ragdoll
Here comes Buster on his way to try and take the stroller.
I was able to steer him to another walker.
"Honest officer, the refrigerator just appeared out of nowhere!" - Buster
"Let me see your license and registration please." - imaginary officer
Little Miss S was checking out the rocking horse.
I think she likes it. =)
Baby J likes the shape sorter.
Here is his lazy smile.
This is his big grin, but sadly he kept putting his face down every time I tried to catch it on camera.
Silly boy.
I LOVE these! You are such a blessing, but if I know you you are thinking you are the one who is blessed.
ReplyDeleteMiss your sense of humor. Keep them up. I'm dealing with my own toddler lately! Some days I could really use your perspective. :) -Alysha
