A Trip To Town

Yesterday I ventured to town on my own for the first time. I walked about a block before I came upon a tricycle. This was my first time to ride in a tricycle and it wasn't bad at all. On the way to the mall I shared the tricycle with 2 girls who rode on the back of the bike and on the way we picked up a guy who shared the seat with me for a short while.

My view from inside the tricycle.

You can see another tricycle coming toward us here along with the vans that the locals use.

Once I got to the mall I had to get some photos printed and while I waited I found something that made me smile. I won't starve while I'm here! When I was in Chin@ I consumed a large amount of Oreos. (Not that I'm starving here in the first place. I must admit I find the food here to be MUCH more tolerable than when I was in Chin@.)

While at the market I figured out the answer to an earlier question I had.

This looks very much like...

...this in shape so that is why the children call this a jelly.

After picking up the pictures, visiting the book store and buying some snacks at the market it was time to head back.
This is one of the vans, or whatever you would call it, that the locals use for transport. There are benches that line the insides and it's full of people so let's just put a few on top.

My view of the driver from my seat in the tricycle.
